At the heart of the ashes of a once-thriving planet, the Gargoyle of Nemoz watches over. Nemoz, a world located several solar systems away from Earth, has suffered an unprecedented devastation an infernal blaze that consumed its cities and landscapes, reducing everything to a wasteland of ruins and embers. The appearance of the first flames remains etched in the collective memory of the Nemosians. The sky darkened within minutes, as if a shadowy veil had been cast over their world. The temperature rose so quickly that small lakes began to boil, creating a toxic mist that mixed with the thick smoke. The Great Fire took everyone by surprise within hours, the planet was engulfed in flames, and a dense black cloud covered its entire surface. Deep within an immense cavern, 1,200 small beings of the same species had gathered, engaged in a game. Among them were 700 children, 497 young adolescents, and only 3 adults. By a cruel twist of fate, they were the only ones to escape the catastrophe. Only a handful of survivors endured the annihilation. With their unmatched genetic resilience and portable oxygen tubes, they braved the horror and vowed to rebuild their civilization. One day, they will rise again as a powerful and prosperous colony. But their destiny does not end with survival. Their path will soon cross with that of Earth and its inhabitants an encounter with unforeseen consequences.
